The website The Best Places to Photograph is a community that collects places to photograph in the United States.

Most of these pages want to sell there photo travel tip booklets. The pages below offer some free samplers and show good photos.

Very good is Bob Hitchmans Photograph America Newsletter.
Photo Trip USA shows great photos from the west of the USA and has lots of information.
Photosecrets is similar. I have purchased two of their booklets and I have to say that they have not exactly been what I was looking for offering only very limited new information.

Weather.com has maps showing the current state of the foilage in New England or you can see the normal peak times for fall color.
Visit New England has lists of foliage information per state: New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Visit New Hampshire has a nice flash animation to predict the foliage.
Vermont Vacation has a similar animation for the state of Vermont.
