Gargano Peninsula
The Gargano peninsula is the "spur" of the Italian "boot". It is in Apulia (Puglia) and is part of the province of Foggia. Highlights are the spectacular rocky Mediterranean coast, coastal cities like Vieste and Peschici and more rural inland cities like Vico del Gargano and Monte Sant'Angelo.
