Heverir

One of the many temporary mud geysers in the Heverir geothermal area. The bizarre form of the mud had been frozen by choosing a short exposure time. The Heverir geothermal area is in Norðurland Eystra, Iceland. This photo was taken in the early afternoon of a cloudy day in June of 2012. This photo was taken with a digital camera.
